I noticed a neat attention-to-detail feature in iCal under Mac OS X Lion today and had to share it.
Switch to the Month view and double-click a day to add an event, say “Meet with Fred.” By default, an all-day event is created.
Create an event that includes the word “Breakfast,” and the start time is automatically changed to 9 AM.
Likewise for “Lunch” (12 PM) and “Dinner” (8 PM).
Although that’s a little late for dinner for me, in an app that got so much wrong, it’s neat to spot a delightful feature like this.
